Giorgio Armani opened a new duty free store counter in Lotte Hotel in Seoul. Recent CDM projects such as Lotte Duty Free in downtown Jakarta and King Power Duty Free in Phuket are more great example of how fast duty free is expanding throughout Asia well beyond the traditional travel retail environments of airports, ferries and border shops.
Exciting news from Frontier Magazine , for travellers using Heathrow Airports T5, as Kate Spade New York opens its first UK travel retail store following its first-ever European TR location in Oslo, Norway.
This latest store adds to Heathrow's already impressive list of ultra-luxury shopping options across its 5 terminals, including Harrods, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co, and of course the Johnnie Walker Boutique in T2. Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport and Nice Cote D'Azur International Airport recently became homes to Summer Cocktail’s new La Scene campaign.
These Summer Cocktail activations broadcast the feeling of the summer holidays, fun times in the sunshine with friends and family! All the bright colours and props point towards the summery atmosphere the brand stands for and the different spirits are displayed for sale and tasting in different cocktails.
To make the La Scene promotions stand out to the others, both activations feature large wall mounted screens complimenting the displays in front of them with videos showing off the spirits and how they can be used as ingredients to create different cocktails.

With newly designed and installed gondolas and an updated wallbay, both Lucky Strike and Kent have an excellent presence at Rio de Janeiro Galeao International Airport.
Blue and Red LED lights frame the units and bring the eye towards the product on the illuminated shelves. Each brand is surrounded by a glow of its own branded colour, blue for Kent and red for Lucky Strike. Combined with the edge lighting are glorifiers for each brand which are used to display an individual pack. The simple use of light ensures a clean and modern look is created.
